How Shopify fees work
Unlike a marketplace, Shopify doesn't take a cut of your sales — instead you pay a monthly plan plus payment processing on each order. With Shopify Payments on the Basic plan, that is 2.9% + $0.30 for online card payments.
This calculator estimates the per-order processing fee and your net profit. Your monthly Shopify subscription is a separate fixed cost.
Example: what you keep on Shopify

| $100.00 | - $3.20 | $96.80 |
| $500.00 | - $14.80 | $485.20 |
