2026 FBA fulfillment fees by size tier (including the 3.5% fuel & logistics surcharge effective 17 April 2026), a referral fee you can set to your category's rate (default 15%), plus optional storage and PPC per-unit costs. Exact fulfillment fees vary by precise weight band — check Seller Central for your ASIN. Fees checked Aug 14, 2026 against the official Amazon FBA fee schedule. Last fee change Apr 17, 2026.

How Amazon FBA fees work

FBA profit has four moving parts: the referral fee (a percentage of the sale — 15% for most categories), the per-unit fulfillment fee set by your product's size tier and weight (2026: about $3.11–$3.70 small standard, $3.73–$6.97 large standard, from $9.66 large bulky — plus a 3.5% fuel surcharge since April), monthly storage per cubic foot (roughly tripling October–December), and any PPC advertising you run.

This calculator stacks all four so you see true per-unit profit — pick the closest size tier, set your category's referral rate, and add your storage and ad cost per unit. For the referral-fee-only view, use the regular Amazon fee calculator.

Frequently asked questions

How much are FBA fees in 2026?+

Fulfillment: roughly $3.11–$3.70 for small standard items, $3.73–$6.97 for large standard (up to 3 lb), and from $9.66 for large bulky — plus a 3.5% fuel surcharge from 17 April 2026. The 15%-typical referral fee and monthly storage are separate.

What changed in Amazon FBA fees for 2026?+

Referral percentages stayed frozen, but fulfillment fees rose 3–5% across size tiers (about $0.08 per unit on average), and a 3.5% fuel & logistics surcharge was added from 17 April 2026.

Is FBA worth it versus shipping myself (FBM)?+

Compare your own cost to pick, pack, and post one unit against your size tier's FBA fee. FBA usually wins for small, fast-moving items (and adds Prime eligibility); FBM often wins for large, heavy, or slow-moving inventory where storage fees pile up.

Does this include the monthly storage fee?+

Add it via the storage-per-unit field: divide your monthly storage bill by units sold per month. Remember October–December storage rates are roughly triple the rest of the year.
