How Much Does Depop Take? (2026 Seller Fees, US / UK / AU)

The short answer depends on where you sell from. Sellers in the US, UK and Australia pay no Depop selling fee at all — only a payment-processing charge of 3.3% + $0.45 (US), 2.9% + £0.30 (UK) or 2.6% + A$0.30 (Australia). Sellers everywhere else still pay the classic 10% commission plus PayPal processing. The fee schedule by country
Depop scrapped its selling fee for UK sellers first, then for the US in July 2024, and Australia has since joined the same processing-only model. The processing fee is charged on the item price plus shipping plus any applicable taxes, and it is deducted before the payout reaches your bank.
Outside those three countries, Depop still charges a 10% selling fee on the item price (and on shipping if you did not use a Depop label), and payment processing runs through PayPal at whatever rate your PayPal account carries — typically the standard commercial rate for your country, which you can check with our PayPal fee calculator.

Worked examples for a US seller
Because the fixed $0.45 does not scale, Depop's effective rate falls as prices rise. It is 7.8% on a $10 sale and under 4% by $100 — the cheapest mainstream resale platform at any normal price point, as long as you do not boost:

Boosted Listings: the fee that changes everything
Boosting is optional and only charged if the item sells through the boost, but it is large. For listings created from 23 March 2026, US and UK sellers pay 12% of the item price (plus shipping if you did not use a Depop label) when a boosted item sells. Sellers elsewhere pay 8%. That is charged on top of the processing fee.
A boosted $100 sale for a US seller therefore costs $12.00 + $3.75 = $15.75, or 15.75% — more than eBay's 13.6% + $0.40. Boosting turns Depop from the cheapest resale app into one of the more expensive ones, so it should be a deliberate choice for slow-moving stock, not a default.

Refunds, bundles and where fees show up
If a sale is refunded, Depop reverses all fees — processing and boost — automatically for Depop Payments sellers. Bundles are charged processing once per transaction; sellers outside the US, UK and Australia pay the 10% selling fee on each item in the bundle. How Depop compares, and how to keep more
Un-boosted, a US Depop seller pays less than a third of what Mercari or Facebook Marketplace charge on a $100 sale, and less than a fifth of Poshmark. The trade-off is reach: Depop's audience is narrower and younger, so items outside vintage, streetwear and Y2K fashion may sell slower.
