Whatnot, the live-selling marketplace, charges a commission on the item price — 8% for a seller in the Standard tier, lower as your total sales over each four-week period unlock higher tiers (structure live since 21 September 2026) — plus payment processing of 2.9% + $0.30 on the full order including shipping.

Are Whatnot fees charged on shipping?+

What changed in Whatnot's fees in September 2026?+
The flat 8% commission became a tiered rate card on 21 September 2026: your total sales over each 28-day period set a tier, and the tier sets a per-category commission for the next period. The Premier Shop commission discount ends on 31 October 2026.
