The short answer: since 20 May 2026 Grailed takes a 6% commission (minimum $1.99) on sales under $120 and 9% on sales of $120 or more, plus payment processing of 3.49% + $0.49 for US sellers paid through Stripe — about $15.48 on a $120 sale, or 12.9%. The tiered commission
Grailed replaced its flat commission with two tiers for sales on or after 20 May 2026. The tier is set by the sale price, which Grailed defines as the listing price plus any shipping charged to the buyer if you are not using a Grailed Label. With a Grailed Label, the sale price is the listing price only — so the label also keeps shipping out of your commission base.
The commission applies to domestic and international transactions alike. Promotional rates sometimes apply to specific sales under separate terms, and older articles quoting a single flat rate are describing the pre-May structure.

Payment processing on top
Commission is separate from payment processing. US sellers onboarded with Stripe pay 3.49% + $0.49 per sale; sellers outside the US, or not Stripe-onboarded, pay a higher processing rate — 5.49% + $0.99 in our registry. Processing is charged on the amount the buyer pays.

Pricing around the cliff
An item that would naturally sell at $120–$135 nets you less than the same item at $119: at $120 you keep $104.52, at $119 you keep $107.22. The break-even, where the 9% tier finally beats $119 at 6%, is about $123 — so anything you would price between $120 and $123 should be listed at $119. Above that, the 9% tier is simply the cost of a higher price. Offers work in your favour here too: accepting a $115 offer on a $130 listing drops you into the 6% tier.
Below $120, the $1.99 minimum matters under $33: a $20 sale pays $1.99, or 10%, not 6%. The Grailed fee calculator applies the correct tier and minimum automatically.
Grailed against the other resale apps
At 10–13% all-in, Grailed sits between Depop's processing-only 3.75% and Poshmark's 20% on a $100 sale. eBay's standard 13.6% + $0.40 is slightly higher than Grailed's 9% tier once processing is added, and eBay's sneaker rate (8% + $0.40 over $150) is lower.
